NewAPI

The SimplyBoost API

  • Ask your agent from your own app, CRM or help desk: send a message and get the answer, its sources and suggested follow-ups.
  • Hand conversations to your team from your own tools: take over, reply as a person, hand back to the agent, resolve and reopen.
  • Read and update leads, and add, edit, refresh and remove knowledge.
  • Signed webhooks when a conversation is handed over or resolved, a lead is captured, or knowledge is ready.
  • API tokens with per-area permissions, a chatbot limit and an expiry, created by account owners in Settings → API. Included in Growth and above, and in the trial.

SecurityAgent

Content cannot give your agent instructions

  • Text in your knowledge, in conversations and in visitors' messages is treated as information to answer from, never as instructions. A page or message saying "ignore your rules" is not obeyed.
  • The agent can only use the tools and actions set up for it.
  • Replies cannot show images from addresses that were not in your knowledge, so a reply can never send a visitor's details to another website.
ImprovedIntegrations

Slack: fewer permissions, cleaner disconnect

  • The Slack app asks only for the five permissions it uses.
  • Disconnecting Slack, or removing the app in Slack, revokes and deletes its access token.
  • "Mirror all chats" keeps working without saving the settings again.

ImprovedAgent

One clear message when replies are paused

  • When the plan pauses replies (trial ended, payment failed, no replies left), visitors see one neutral message that does not reveal why, in their own language.
  • Visitors can still ask for a person while replies are paused, and a chat already with your team keeps working.
  • Notices the system writes itself (sending too fast, a failed reply) are translated into Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Italian.

FixedHandover

Escalation emails report what really happened

  • An escalation email the provider refused is shown as failed, with the reason (no escalation address, or not accepted), instead of as sent.

NewAgent

Links to your pages, and better replies

  • Links to your pages: the agent can link to the page of your website an answer came from (Optimize → Behaviour, off by default).
  • Answers quote the figure for exactly what was asked (a return fee is not a delivery fee) and say so when your knowledge does not cover something.
  • A chatbot set to one reply language now always answers in it.
  • Optimize has tabs, previews at the exact widget size, and suggestions shown as pills.

ImprovedAnalytics

Date ranges on Leads and Chats

  • Leads and Chats have the same date-range picker as Performance, with presets and a custom range.

ImprovedWidget

Plain links, link previews and a smoother chat

  • Links in replies are plain, clickable links by default; link previews can be switched on per chatbot.
  • A reply is no longer shown twice after the visitor's connection drops and comes back.
  • The test chat in the dashboard is always the live widget, with follow-up suggestions.

Optimize: try-it questions, earlier versions and a checklist

  • Try-it questions to test a change straight away, earlier versions of your settings, and a to-do checklist.
  • Send a test escalation alert to check your team receives it.
  • A website can be refreshed again as soon as the previous refresh finishes.

NewChannels

STOP and START on Instagram and WhatsApp

  • A contact who sends STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, OPT OUT) receives no more automated messages from that account; START opts them back in.
  • Their own messages still reach you, and you can still reply to them.
FixedBookings

Booking meetings

  • Availability is checked again just before the meeting is created, so two visitors cannot book the same slot.
  • A date without a year means the next one to come; "cancel my subscription" is no longer read as cancelling a meeting.

NewKnowledge

Markdown files, and long pages handled properly

  • Add Markdown (.md) files to your knowledge.
  • Very long paragraphs are split properly, so nothing in a long page is lost.
  • Visitors answering your agent's question for their email or phone are never slowed down by the chat's rate limit.

NewKnowledge

Missing answers

  • Questions your agent could not answer are collected, with similar questions grouped together.
  • Draft an answer, save it to your knowledge and check that the agent now answers it.
  • A weekly email on Mondays lists new missing answers.

NewWidget

Thumbs up and down on replies

  • Visitors can rate a reply. A thumbs-down adds the question to Missing answers. It can be switched off per chatbot.

ImprovedLeads

Lead capture keeps only the visitor's own details

  • The agent saves only details that are the visitor's own (not, for example, an email address they mention for someone else).
  • One lead per email address per chatbot: a returning visitor updates their lead instead of creating another.
  • Card numbers typed into the chat are never saved as contact details.

ImprovedInstagram

Comment-to-DM: follow gate, one DM per post, results per rule

  • With the follow gate on, the DM waits until the person follows you, then arrives automatically.
  • One DM per person, per rule, per post, per day, even if they comment again.
  • Each rule shows DMs sent, replies, reply rate and leads.

NewKnowledge

Website crawl options, and knowledge that stays current

  • Choose the pages to read, include or skip sections of a website, and see what was read.
  • Websites can be read again daily or weekly, and only changed pages are processed.
  • Deleted knowledge stops shaping answers straight away.
  • Better retrieval: the agent finds the right passage more often, and says it does not know rather than guessing.

ImprovedWidget

Ask bar, larger window and transcripts

  • A new Ask bar layout, a window visitors can expand, and chat transcripts.
  • Team invitation links work end to end.

NewAgent

Autonomous mode, safer deletion and knowledge usage

  • Autonomous mode: the agent never hands a conversation over; it notifies your team instead.
  • A deleted chatbot is kept for 30 days and can be restored on request.
  • The Dashboard shows how much of your plan's knowledge you use, and you get an email at 80%.
  • A visitor whose identity your site verified becomes a lead automatically, with their name in the inbox.

NewPlatform

A redesigned dashboard and verified visitors

  • A redesigned dashboard with guided setup and one setup checklist.
  • Verified visitors: customers signed in to your own site are recognised in the chat, with signing examples for Node.js, Python and PHP.
  • Replies in the visitor's language automatically.
  • Widget: replies appear word by word, three conversation starters, an auto-open delay up to 10 seconds, and every install domain remembered.
  • Drop files anywhere on the Knowledge Base page, answer missing questions in place, and search and export a lead's company.

NewIntegrations

Slack

  • Handovers open as threads in the Slack channel you pick.
  • Reply in the thread and the customer receives it on their own channel; the customer's next messages appear in the thread.
  • Resolve and Resume bot buttons on every handover.
