Comment-to-DM is an Instagram automation that sends a private message to people who comment on your post or reel, usually when the comment contains a keyword you picked. Someone comments "LINK" and a few seconds later the link is in their DMs.

How comment-to-DM works
- You create a rule for one post, a few posts or all your posts, including the ones you publish later.
- The rule fires on every comment, or only when the comment contains one of your keywords.
- The DM is sent as an Instagram private reply, so it arrives even if the person has never messaged you before.
- Optionally, a public reply appears under the comment, like "Check your DMs, @anna", so other followers see that commenting works.
- The DM can carry a tappable link button, and a few timed follow-ups for people who did not open it.
Why brands use it
"Link in bio" asks people to leave the post, find your profile and tap again. Most don't. A comment-to-DM puts the exact link in front of them while they are still interested.

Will a keyword like "info" also trigger on "infographic"?
No. SimplyBoost matches keywords as whole words and ignores capital letters, so "Info", "INFO" and "info" all match, and "infographic" does not.
