ManyChat pricing in 2026, from Free to Advanced. How active contacts, overages and Inbox seats shape the monthly bill.
Since 2 March 2026 ManyChat has had five plans: Free, Essential at $17 a month, Pro at $39, Business at $99 and Advanced at $199. Billed yearly, they cost $14, $29, $69 and $139 a month. Each includes a set number of active contacts, with an overage fee per extra contact. WhatsApp and AI automation start on Pro.

With yearly billing you pay for the full year upfront. Essential and Pro come with a 14-day free trial. Business and Advanced don't have one.

On Pro, Business and Advanced, extra Inbox seats cost $25 per seat. Free and Essential don't include WhatsApp, SMS or email.
How do ManyChat active contacts and overages work?
ManyChat prices by how many active contacts you have in a month, so the bill tracks the size of your audience more than the size of your team.
- Going over the limit
- If you pass your plan's limit, ManyChat keeps your automations running and charges the overage rate for each extra active contact.
- You can cap it
- To keep overage costs under control, set a contact limit in Settings, Billing, Subscription.
- Cancelling
- Any overages from before the end of your billing period are still charged after you cancel.
- Priced per account
- Every ManyChat account has its own plan, contact limit, seats and billing. For agencies, that means paying per client account.
What does a viral month cost on ManyChat? A worked example

Active contacts and AI replies are different units. A fairer comparison is the number of conversations your automation actually answers.
Did ManyChat pricing change in 2026?
Yes. ManyChat introduced its current five-plan model on 2 March 2026. Accounts created on or after that date get it by default, and all Free accounts have already moved to the new Free plan.
Older paid accounts are moving over gradually, country by country, and ManyChat emails the account owner when the new model becomes available to them. Which plans you can choose can also vary by region, so check the pricing page from your own country.

Yes. ManyChat's help centre lists AI-powered automation for deeper conversations and complex FAQs on Pro and the plans above it. Free and Essential don't include it.
Pro is the first plan with WhatsApp, and it allows 3 connected channels. Business and Advanced allow unlimited channels. WhatsApp isn't available on Free or Essential.
Your automations keep running, and ManyChat charges an overage fee for each extra active contact, for example $0.05 on Pro with monthly billing. To control the cost, you can set a contact limit in your billing settings.
Yes, within 30 days of your first plan purchase. ManyChat says you can cancel and request a refund in that window, and upgrading later doesn't reset it.
